Anyone else suffer from this?

Can't get motivated to do your work, love what you do, but would rather sit on here or just doing crap just trying to take my mind off all of the other stuff thats getting me down in life currently?

Personally i've done very little today, mainly sat on Omegle chatting about other stuff to people.

I hate my current job, and spend the day on here to stave away the tedium, no wonder I can't get motivated :p

roll on new job!

I'm slowly getting less and less motivated with my job over all. This forum does not help the situation :p I know that once I start a task I'll get into it and it'll be done pretty quick, but it's finding the energy to start it in the first place...:(

Get some sugary food inside you, will help you focus a bit more (may not help the waist line though)

This is how I've been feeling at quite a few months now, turns out I was depressed and am on medication now... :/

Now I'm not saying that you are but might want to check it out. That feeling of "I want to do it but I physically can't be bothered". It's horrible.

One of the largest factors in motivation is sleep - if you're really demotivated, then get more of it by going to bed earlier.

Ask anyone who's got sleep apnoea how much of an improvement they felt when they were diagnosed!

I hate my job, I just do the bare minimum and clock out early.
They aint gonna fire me for that so i don't care, it's crappy student work anyway.

Looking for more full time work to scrape funds for uni together anyway.

Mines just no motivation to do it, i'm sat here thinking about myself all the ****up i've done recently, doubting myselt, and just in all being down.

I dunno what to do about it, and I can't afford to blow this job and i've got 10months left on probation.

Those medications also can make you tired and demotivated, so not always a good thing. I speak from experience.

I find that I spend most of my working time procrastinating, but when required I blitz out the work faster than anyone I know. If I worked at my normal pace consistently they'd probably not know what to do with me, so I spread out my day to 10% work 90% procrastination and it kind of balances out into the workload of a normal person. It also is much more enjoyable for me and I still get paid good money. I don't know if anyone else finds this?

I expect one day I'll decide to just put 110% in, but I'm only 21 at the moment so I'm allowed to be naive.

I'm really depressed at work, have been for the past 2 months or so, I'm not talking just a little down I mean proper depressed!

Not much I can do about it though, I really want to join the Police but that would mean taking a 50% pay cut and with myself, my other half and three kids to support that’s just not an option. :(

Sorry, I know that was slightly off topic, just needed to get it off my chest!

I feel a lot more drowsy but my motivation has picked up. Medication varies from person to person. I'm on my first week atleast see how it goes. :)

OP for motivational thing how active is your lifestyle, do you do much exercise at all? Exercise is a great way to boost the mind. Got to move on if you have mucked certain things up, learn from it. Try and not dwell on the failures. :)
