Even if you are 0.01 into your arranged OD you will be charaged - Same if you are £2500 you will only be charged £1 per day.
jeez call em and get it back its not hard.
don't overspend or raise your limit..
Its just a computer checking accounts that are "over" then slaps a letter/charge out to you. Its not personal
Yes, if you are caught speeding you might get a ticket but they won't unless you are at least 10% over the speed limit. Besides, speeding is nothing to do with banks and their extortion charges so its pointless mentioning it.
Way to go captain obvious, you've enlightened us all.
Cue the idiots who justify these charges by raging about how you shouldn't spend money you haven't got.
We get hit with bank charges from Loyds tsb of around £180 a month regularly, mind we allways go over our overdraft of £1000, I wish they wouldnt cripple us.
TBH i agree with the bank, Rules are rules and you over spent and have been charged for the pleasure. Given, its only 33p over which may seem a little extreme but they lay down the rules when you take out the account with them and should know better.
Its like speeding and getting caught by the police. You might have only been 5mph or ten mph over the limit, but it is still within their rights to punish you.
