Anyone here absolutlely bum the hell out of the ps3?

Xbox is better at;

-Mulitplayer
-Crisper/Sharper Graphics
-Headsets - Everyone has one when you play online!
-Quieter (now you can install games)
-All games 1080p upscaled
-Better controller
-Game updates are quicker to download and install
-You don't have to install everything and anything

If you want me to list plus points of the PS3 i shall happily do so. I do have a launch day 60GB PS3 and have played it extensively so I'm not just some blind fanboy.

Most of those are either wrong or subjective.

well one that isn't subjective is the lack of trials for PSN games, EVERY XBLA game has a free trial.

Cant get enough PS3 here since I bought it last xmas.

I Bought uncharted 2 on Thursday and have been obsessed with it.

Love the PS3's features but yeah it has flaws that should be sorted.

I have however been looking at getting an xbox as my mates all have PCs or 360s.

Maybe you should have scratched up on those D.T lessons while you were in school and read about what "ergonomic" is. The PS3 controller is a 15 year old design and is vastly inferior to the xbox pad.

Must say though, re the 15 yr old design. You were 5 years old when that controller came out Did it occur to you people older than yourselves who have been using the design for "15 years" may have gotten used to it?

-Crisper/Sharper Graphics - Wrong, they are both essentially the same in that department, it's the games resolution/scaling that cause some of the PS3 multi-platform titles to appear less crisp.
-Headsets - Everyone has one when you play online! Agreed this can be a good thing especially playing against friends, but personally I'd rather not listen to 12/13 year old Americans shouting crap down their headsets.
-Quieter (now you can install games) Quieter than a PS3 ? LOLOLLOLOLOO, NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS EVER SORRY.
-All games 1080p upscaled - Everyone's TV will up-scale anyway.
-Better controller - Subjective TBH.

I have owned over 14 xbox 360's and 2 PS3's, the OG and the Slim so I also feel that I have experience on this subject.

Here's some PS3 bullet point's for you,

PS3 Pro's

1) Built in wireless.

2) Built in blue-tooth.

3) Built in power supply unit.

4) Blu-Ray. (Arguably one of the most future proof players on the market)

5) Whisper quiet.

6) Better Build quality and astronomically more reliable than the competition.

7)The ability to upgrade your hard drive using standard third party 2.5" Sata drives making it much cheaper and also offers consumer more choice.

8) Free on-line gaming.

9) The ability to use third party steering wheels, Headsets, Arcade sticks & Pads.

10)Internet Browsing capabilities.

11)No forced advertising on your XMB.

12)Higher quality audio.

13)Bountiful amounts of 'techy' options to play around with from DVD filtering to Audio bit-mapping etc, the PS3 is a 'gadgeters' dream in that respect.

14)No official memory card needed to back up game saves.

15)Controllers are rechargeable as standard.

I bum both my Elite and PS3 but I can't deny that my PS3 gets it a lot more.
