** PRICE DROP ** Razer Mamba Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse £94.99 inc VAT

Logitech MX518 > Anything by Razer.

The only half-decent mice by Razer (IMO) are the DeathAdder and Habu. The rest seem to be designed to be unbelievably awkward to use.

The Mamba is very close to the Habu, that's why i bought one.

Remember buying a Razor Boomslang 2000 dpi for £70 in it's flashy biscuit tin about 7 year ago. Tried it and thought it was rubbish and put it in the cupboard for a few years and sold it a couple of years later. Not only did it give me cramp / locked fingures because of it's design, it also squeeked and skipped. I ended up going back to my Logitech Pilot mouse. Lesson learnt. These mice are aimed at, lets be frank... gullible people thinking it will improve their game ten fold. Biggest waste of money i've spent on a mouse.

Of course this isn't Ocuk fault. It's Razor trying to make a packet from the so called pro gaming community and it's up and coming talent, be it what ever game.

Everyone who likes Razor mice who have a version that skips or squeaks or gives them cramp are just gullible.

Everything you said comes striate from Razor marketing & its seems that you got caught & believed that it would improve your gaming if you think the only reason that people buy any Razor mouse because of what Razor say.

Buy a version with out those issues like the rest of us.

Comfort is the most important thing for me when it comes to mice & the Habu was most comfortable for me & had the buttons in the perfect place for me. The Mamba is a wireless Habu as far as im concerned with even better button placement which now gives more 2 more usable buttons in play.

I didn't my it because its Razor i bought it because of its overall design & features & it would not matter who made it or that it cost £20.

I don't see everyone on this forum as your average gullible purple shirt shopper.

the mouse is way to dear but...... theres a lot of razer hate and yes some might fall for the "its going to make me pro :D" and buy one.

if they like that then whatever but i have used most of the decent mice you can use over the years and for me they are better than the only gaming mice companny (logitech)

ive tried the decent microsoft ones which none inspired anything other than meh :(

got the the 510 and 518 on other pc now dont like the middle button feels like a sponge button pretty good

then had four diamondbacks all have been good and are my perferred gaming mice. never had a skipping problem on any and have used onn desktop and all kinds of mice mat.

Funnily enough my MX518 finally went to the giant cheese in the sky on Saturday so I'm moving on to a Mamba, arrives tomorrow, it's probably not worth the price difference but the shape looks comfy :D

I bought this mouse a while back. Very happy with it but it's starting to need a new battery and Razor don't sell them!!!
I'm in discussion with Razor atm via email to see what they can do about this issue.
Their support is very good so far (new extra teflon circly bit posted to me very quickly for free)

I've had a Razer Viper, Copperhead, DeathAdder and a Logitech G5 and I gotta say the G5 is the best of 'em all.

Viper was awesome but no thumb buttons, Copperhead was the wrong shape and compromised too much on being two handed, DeathAdder was good but too fat and the coating rubbed off very quickly.

I am quite tempted by the Mamba but don't want to buy something that I don't end up liking...plus the price...wowzers. Always wanted to try an MX Revolution but never had the chance.

Razor are now telling me point blank that they don't do replacement batteries for the Mamba. All I want to do is buy a new battery from them and they are telling me that I can't. For a mouse costing this much this is terrible customer after-care imo. Lovely mouse but terrible after-sales service.
Buyer beware!
