The DLC appears, but I would have to buy them in order to use them. I have registered 2 CD keys for the bonus content on the Bioware website. I am unable to log in via the game, thus it is unable to find out that I already have the content and let me download it.

I used the EA downloader. Its only 7gig on it rather than the full 15 for Steam. At least that how i think it is.

Grrr if anyone can post a step by step guide to activating the pre-order content... .

I've redeed my codes, downloaded in game, and everything is at 100% in the download manager and my journal, but no items to actually use.

Just got my keys from EA.

Fixed my installation problem, but it involves swapping over the broken installation folder with a working one from another working copy.

Hmm oddly, moments after I typed that a download popped up and its installing the extra content..

Where on my HDD is the DLC (primarily the two mission packs) kept? I want to add it onto my backup disks.

A few hours in now. Really annoying though...I started going down the dual blade route, but changed my mind and am now going down the shield route...only 2 points wsted I guess.

I always found that route to be best in BG/BGII/Icewind

i've just died for the first time. its pretty hard on normal mode. i died on the 2nd floor of lighting the beacon.....
I had 4 people in my party, and only my dog left. He was vs 2 archers. He killed one but then died himself poor thing. dammit!

Died for the first time a little bit earlier. Didn't realise the rest of my party had stopped following me...I like the penalty system though.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, it just stared working. Now I'm carrying around the breastplate for the dragon armour and have no-one strong enough to wear it!

If your using Vista/7 then its:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\

That folder contains all the DLC, saves and screenshots.

hmmm, have not died yet and do not think it is that hard on normal so far tbh. I tend to pause loads though and have used the party tactics a lot.

Just about to do this part, so will report back as to whether I get my first party wipe doing it.
