Is it a good night when you don't remember going out?

It varies really, some of those nights are awesome i find.
I feel much more relaxed and way less tense after a good night even if i got way to drunk toward the end. I usually end up sobering up after an hour or so of dancing if i start to stumble and fall enough to go on to the next club.

I do it every weekend and some weekdays, so I guess it's just experience.
But on the rare occasion I lose my memory (twice in my entire life) it's usually an epic night, I've thrown up and not been able to use stairs or walk etc. before but it takes something special to make me lose my memory.

Ive had just under 2 750ml bottles of vodka to myself on several occasions.
750ml = 21 x 35ml shots
13.3 stone
13.3stone = 85kgs or so
9pm to 5am
8 hours drinking time

You're male and 21

42 x 35ml shots at 40% would give you a BAC of around 0.6%

0.30 BAC: Loss of consciousness.
0.40 BAC and up: Onset of coma, possible death due to respiratory arrest.
Over 0.3% and you'll be lucky to remain conscious, 0.4% will kill 50% of the population, and you claim you can still remember most of the night after which you would have hit nearly 0.6.

Cool story bro.

Good work, however you failed to include the amount of fishfinger sandwiches he consumed during this time frame, we all know the alcohol prohibiting effects of fish finger sandwiches.

But you were being a drunken fool, so who cares. Anyone that paid any particular attention to that is an idiot :)

Right?

Well, talked to a few other people from last night, and I was talking about stuff I shouldn't have to many people.
Mentioned a girl I was with before I got with my GF, who my GF doesn't know about. Also text this said girl (nothing bad in that way, just a merry, drunken, hope you're happy too text, but defiantly shouldn't have done it).
Also, the people at this bar all live in the same college as me and both girls.

Bad times mate.

Ive had just under 2 750ml bottles of vodka to myself on several occasions, i remember the majority of the night, i can never acheive full memory loss..

The most insane thing is in these times i drink about 10+ pints of water during the night/day, and dont go for a wee until about 6pm :O

That's just jibba jabba.

Look on facebook, that’s how I usually can tell what I spent my money on, by looking at the clubs behind you or where you’re passed out in the road.
Imagine it was good.

Someone had to.

2 bottles of Vodka 750ml in 8 hours you would be unconscious, I drank 500ml of vodka in a night and was very very drunk.

Back when I was a complete fool, I drank 6 measures of whisky and half a bottle of vodka in about 6 hours and I wasn't even capable of crawling in a straight line or having a clue where I was. I lost about 8 hours of memory that night, which I never regained other than a few short chunks. At least I remembered how I got the bruises all over one side of my torso - I remembered falling over and the 15st bloke I was with falling on me (because we were holding each other up).

It was fun earlier in the evening, when we were drunk enough to decide to walk about 4 miles to buy Mr Kipling's cherry bakewell tarts from a specific shop despite the fact that the corner shop a hundred yards away sold them. It made sense at the time.

But 1.5l of vodka in 8 hours means one of 3 things:

Platinum87 is a Klingon.

Platinum87 is a serious alcoholic who has built a very large tolerance for alcohol.

Platinum87 is making it up.

Complete memory loss is a bad thing. Nights where memory comes and goes can be very good.

@Angilion you missed a 4th, platinum being repeatedly sick

@op, if you didn't actually sleep with anyone, and you woke up in the right house, it's all good.

Im sure this may make me sound older than I am...

but if you go out and get so drunk you:-

A) Cant remember the night
B) Have to be carried into bed by a girl

Then its my opinion that any repeat of behaviour like this may lead to you actually being labelled a ****. The same would also go for anyone on this forum, or indeed in the U.K.

I mean go out, sure, drink, great, get drunk, if you must, but so wasted you cant remember? so blatted that you have to stumble home stinking whilst urinating on things with one hand and a wee soaked kebab in the other.

How classy you all must be. Gold star, go get a balloon from the office.

The problem today with most young drinkers (16 to 35) is there so bloody weak and so full of themselves that they haven't a clue what their limits are.

It isn't something that people aspire to or want to happen. Rather, intoxicated people are having lots of fun and don't really they are getting carried away.

I would just like to point out, there is a difference between getting drunk and having fun and being paralytic. and why risk looking like a complete idiot and filling A&E when you smash your face off the floor.

Its just sad. Know yourself, Know your limits. That doesn't mean don't get drunk.
