*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

i cant wait to get this game. im going to be on it all night on tuesday as i have to go to london till thursday :( gutted so will have some cathing up to do when i get back
 
Unfortunately we only have a small one of the retailers selling it for £26 in my town and its practically full of uni students.

I think i'm going to try dropping in tomorrow night at 9.45pm to see if they'll let me reserve one or maybe even buy a copy just before they close.

I work 6am-11am though on Tuesday so its not really feasible to drop in Tuesday morning for when they open.

Although.... sneaking out of work to pick up "forgotten" time sheets might be a good plan.

As long as its not just after my copy comes through the door I'm fine with that. Be a bit of a double edged sword if my copy arrived tomorrow but sat perfectly on the top of it was a human turd. I'd be pleased and also extremely upset and disturbed.

I doubt they will to be honest, head office would be able to see that a copy had been sold before official release and the GM manager would likely get an earful because of it.

Ive heard a rumour that another super market (largest in the country) will be selling it for £25 but you have to buy another game at full price to qualify ...shame I didn't wait before I bought ratchet and clank last Thursday :(

Heh, only hope so because I won't have CODMW2 until probably after xmas, and recently got COD4 second hand. Come Tuesday I might be the only one playing it online! :(
