*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Well the price war is well and truly under way - I dont know why I ever doubted it really¬! I will be too busy on Gears 2 tripple xp this week but I still want my MW2 copy and I never played the first one online that much... Looking forward to single player though. My dad loved cod 4 - completed it on the difficulty under veteran lol :)
 
found out where i ordered the game have now said even though it was dispatched on saturday, they arent being delivered til tomorrow, **** using them again, useless gets.
 
Well, while you guys are getting your copies at midnight gimme a thought, as im the unlucky sod behind the counter selling it to you at 1am :(
 
My order from them just got dispatched, I'm pretty sure they guarantee to refund you the difference if it changes before release. I paid 43.99 for it.

Indeed it does! 25 Kill Streak though, and you have to unlock it!

IMO although 25 KS sounds high (I think i only managed this once or twice in my entire 2 years of COD4) The addition of the AC130 and Chopper gunner does seem to indicate that you can reach this target much easier.
 
My order is awaiting despatch so I just fired an email off to them, last time I pre ordered a game I had the same status and got it the day after... in future I will await the price war or go for someone with a good historry or prior delivery if it doesnt cost too much more!

Hope to get more into the multiplayer aspect of this game since evryone will be playing it :)

Who's getting this for the PS3 then?

Is there the ability to join a OcUK clan (as per Resistance 2)??

yep same, its a bloody joke, they won't be getting my service again, especially not at that price...i could have bought it from town today.
 
The hotukdeals thread is madness, more pages each time you refresh :D

Now the question is, how willing am i to fight it out at my local supermarket first thing in the morning :D
