Well, just called my local ex safeways and yep, 25 squids, tons in stock, 2 seconds round the corner from me so will stop by after work, at that price, bargain

When I rang, the cute female voice said "if you are requesting information regarding moder warfare 2, we have it in stock, yes, it is 25 quid yes, have others been to see, yes, have i been stuck on the phone answering these Q's, yes" I pmsl!!!

Bless her, got her name so will take her a coffee when i go to pick it up lol.

Considering all their hoo ha and posts saying they would only send it out yesterday that is a joke! If only they had sent them earlier.

I think I am going to move my business elsewhere from now on.

ive rang up and had a right go, they said the van went to the wrong part of UK, 50 people wont be getting it today, so there getting the game back, im off to morrisons!

Surely they should just get whoever responsible to drive the van to all your houses! I know if I messed up at work I would sort it myself that day.
 
What a disaster last night was. Partly my fault for underestimating the demand.

Got to Sainsburys in Greenwich at 23:20 only to be told that they had been issuing tickets for the games and they gave away the last ticket at 20:00. Then I booted it down the road to Asdas only to be greeted with Police blocking the entrances and a queue spiralling literally round the car park and back again. Must have been a good 750 people there. I finished off at the 24 hour Tesco's where I picked up a copy for the best part of £40. :(

They said the van went to scotland, instead of sheffield/doncaster area, flids, im off to morrisons now, report back soon!
 
Just got back with my copy :D Wasn't as hard to track down as GTA IV afterall :p
I was told that Sainsbury's had sold out about 30 mins after they opened the store!
So went down to Morrison's where they had 2 boxes full for each console at 10am, and I didn't even have to tell the woman what game i wanted just Xbox 360 and she knew straight away :cool: :p
 
I had no problems getting this, just bobed into my local sainsburys, grabbed it and bought it withn less than 4 mins! practically no one there aswell. £26 bargain!
 
Just finished it, it's ok, not amazing. How the COD series can consistantly get high scores when the AI is consistently crap, year after year, is beyond me. I'm hoping the Co-Op spec ops stuff is better.

This was taken about 12:10 when the queue started moving! :eek:

Bare in mind this was 4 people wide, and the best part of 200ft long. Suprised they had enough copies tbh.

..and yes, they were ALL buying MW2.

@ OllyM - I've updated the post. I had mistakenly copied the PC price :rolleyes:

I've just popped back to Morrisons for another copy. That's 3 I've got now... like some kind of tout haha

Both my brothers Christmas presents sorted anyway :cool:
 
Likewise popped to Morrisons. Had tonnes on the shelf and that was mirrored by the number in the drawer. One for me and one for the old man. Guess everyone else was off to Sainsburys to be disappointed (was doing the shopping there this morning and there were hordes heading to the gaming aisle but it was out). Thanks to the above for pointing out it was at Morrisons. Forza3 must be played first sadly :/ My PS3 is beginning to feel left out :(
