Apparently there's no mod support.
 
Instead of evolving the gaming world forward, Infinityward are devolving backwards. No mod support, reduced mp numbers & possibly smaller maps. What next? 1v1 maps the size of a broom cupboard? The original CoD:MW had reinvigorated a stale genre by including some rpg elements in the way of perks, and also pushed for better teamplay. Looking at the feedback and postings on the internet, they have made the backwards step and just brought out glorified CS:S - bunnyhoppingcamperfestingnadespamming tedium with the same old problems as before, but with fewer players on each map.
Lets hope Battlefield 3 (or whatever they bring out) will rise above this half-hearted generic release.

Wow, someone knows that their MP is screwed but cant explain the mechanics is jumping on the bandwagon... someone blindly supporting IW despite the huge amount of evidence that theyve porked the MP game is...

though im yet to find the quote where he called pc gamers nerds.
it's a fair point, try it, if it sucks they'll fix it.

cod4 has been selling steadily for 2 years, they want the same to happen for this, which it wont if the Mplayer doesnt work, so if it doesnt work it'll stop the game selling.

Do you really think they're going to add dedicated server support at this late stage? As thats about the only way they could fix it.

This try it and see stuff is just bull****. If you try it and it sucks then you're stuck with it. Cant sell it on, cant give it away, its locked to your steam account.

Maybe their try it and see comments would hold some water if they had the balls to release a demo.

I don't blindly support anything that is a part-time hobby of mine, in fact, I don't really give a **** at all. I'm just surprised that everyone is slagging off the game before even trying it online.
