*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Going to swing by sainsbury's after work in the hope they still have some stock, I'm normally a pc gamer by trade but it's been watered down to be like the console game, may as well get it on the 360 now so I can sit in my comfortable man chair!

Called Sprucefield and Forestside and both Sainsburys there said they were sold out across the board :eek:

So erm... Whats it like? I've never played a COD game before and only just realise that online is free and wireless on the ps3 :o

Got my neighbour who works at asda to get it for £29 but got to go pick the mrs new car up now so haven't got time to play it tonight :/

Yeah, they had a box of 'em behind the express counters.

I'd hazard a guess that they'd be sold out by now though. Got mine shortly after they opened.




Just played my first TDM and the first thing that hit me was how poor the GFX looked? Looked like something from an old PC shooter. Was the Terminal map. Or at least that's what I think it was called.
 
Cant connect to any game online, just keeps trying to find games, saying my nat is strict but had no problems with COD 4/WAW and with Fifa 10 at online gaming.

Sort your NAT out maybe? Zero problems here but then my NAT is open. I know in other games having a strict or moderate NAT will not stop you from getting games but will reduce the number of games you can join.

Can anyone manage to join friends games or invite friends into theirs? I can play online just fine but whenever i send an invite or be invited, both me and the recipient get the message, 'The game session you were invited to is no longer valid' .
We accepted straight after invites and non of us buggered off into a match on our own.

Bt Home hub and it looks like you cant change it from looking on the web.

Just got into a game after 10 mins search, the airport level is terrible for spawn kills, guy killed me, I spawn around the corner same guy runs around the corner and gets me.
 
went with a mate from work to go get his at lunch from sainsburys was last in the queue and he got the last 360 copy I was going to buy it and take back my £45 copy that I got yesterday but meh not bothered now. They said they had loads of Ps3 copies left which says it all really!
