Crysis Warhead - £4.99 New

simply can't get it to work - I have tried to pay with paypal and by card but every time I get the same damn message:

We are unable to process your order. Please verify your information and try again.

I give up.

No I was asking you because it was the last page I read, and though you would tell me.

I would have accused you of EA bashing if I thought you were, or if I even gave a **** about EA bashing.

But I don't, and was only asking so will go ask someone else about it then.

Can someone tell me if this is correct?

Why have I got two entries in the downloader - one is a sub entrie but both have a bar. one is downloading the other is not. Do both have to download?

Second one is Crysis Wars, which is the Multiplayer, probably not worth bothering with from what I hear. Certainly not essential to playing Warhead anyways.

From what I saw of the multiplayer it actually looked pretty cool. It's the only reason I'm tempted to buy the game actually :) The community is dead, but it should be good fun at lan parties.
 
I finally got a confirmation that mine is purchased, will have to work until after work to start downloading.

The payment system seems to be intermittent at best. Yesterday I got two simultaneous pop ups, one confirming the order and one saying that there was a problem. After waiting ages for the confirmation e mail I got one saying it was cancelled. Must have tried four times.

Got this downloaded and installed and enjoy it. I had forgotten how much of a pig it is on the system though. I remember playing Crysis on lower than I wanted setting but I seem to have to play this on the same setting and I am sure I upgraded my graphics card in between!

Thank you! I've been faffing about with proxies and stuff and haven't been able to get a payment to go through.

Edit - God help us, every time I try to use that site I end up wanting to hurt kittens. When I eventually did manage to find somewhere to log in, I get this :

Error Number: SYS_000006

They really are incredibly rubbish :mad:

I was having the same problem with Burnout Paradise. After trying over 5 times, I emailed customer support asking for their help. They asked for more details of the problem, which I supplied them with. Got an email back yesterday telling me they'd added the game onto my account, FREE! (a few hours earlier though I'd succumbed to buying a serial off g2play which means I have 2 copies (doh), so if anyone wants to buy the unused g2play serial, lemme know).

I've been impressed with EA over the past few months in their willingness to respond to customer complaints about their DRM and make it easier for legitimate customers. I'm now very impressed, especially since I was trying to buy it at £3.74 and they've put it back up to £30. That's the way to treat customers.

So, I recommend messaging EA's customer service making sure to be nice (however much the site's slowness may be making you want to smash your head through the monitor!) and be explanatory. They may take a long time to respond (that's a negative) but they may be able to help you in the end.

Odd, I didn't get that message when I bought Mass Effect and Dead Space. And the Battlefield 2 booster pack I bought in 2007 is still available for me to redownload via the EADM. Seen reports in other forums that their purchases are redownloadable too.

Theres no way I'm swapping between EA downloader and Steam depending on which game I want to play at the time! So I'm not starting to build an EA downloader account.
