Chimp Attack Victim Unveils Horrific Injuries

I hate chimps. They scare the absolute crap out of me.

I've seen the video before, just not the aftermath. Poor woman looks to be in a total mess. :(

Years ago I remember reading that Chimps are great pets until they go beyond the age of 7.
If you go to the zoo you'll see that Chimps are the most violent in their cages.
Michael Jackson had to get rid of Bubbles for the same reasons.

That's ****ed up.

Chimpanzees are bloody strong, you'd have to be a gorilla yourself to deal with a 14 stone chimp.

Even ripped off her hands o.0

thats horrific

it wasnt even her pet, it was her friends

suing her for 50m , hmmm, i wonder if her friend has 50m if she loses the case

I knew it had gone to town on her, but that was worse than I expected, especially them having to remove her eyes.

I just wish it had never happened to her, nothing else could be an acceptable outcome THB.

That is crazy-why would anyone want to keep a large chimp in the house?, she is lucky to be alive although personally i think i would rather it had finished me off than have to go on in her condition. terrible :(

It needs to be said again, that's ****ed up!

It's nightmarish imagining one of those rubbery sacks of arm and muscle that no human is likely to have a chance in hell against in a fight, ripping and biting someone apart.

*shudder*

I'd hate to have her life, can't see, no hands, no FACE, rest of her life on medical support. You'd have to have help even to kill yourself in that state and if that's not the ultimate test of how much control you have on your life, nothing is.

That's horrific. You'd have to be a trained fighter to fend one off. I heard it had Lyme disease which can cause confusion just like in humans.

Typical American ending though, sueing an old lady for $50m!

That's messed up, but then wtf do you expect if you keep a 14 stone mature chimp as a pet.

My rule of thumb is that I wont keep anything as a pet that could overpower me and tear most of my face off.. So far so good.

I can't imagine anyone wanting one at home, so capable of tearing you limb from limb if it is in the mood, even their playing is violent to humans, break your back with a friendly tap.

Maybe Jacko got rid of his because 7 was too old .

Even then I think you'd struggle. Apes are chiselled muscle with no morals to speak of and no concept of not fighting dirty to bind them in any way. They've got a greater power to weight ratio, a longer reach and they're more flexible. Most trained fighters would be torn apart just the same.

I haven't been doing it that long but I see some "animals" when I go kickboxing. Guys who are 17 stone plus and legs like baseball bats. One kick to the head and that chimp is going down. Of course you have to know what you're up against (as you describe, something with no morals).

Indeed. That poor, poor woman. :( It's a shame they didn't shoot the thing before this had to happen instead of afterwards (some news reports state the chimp was already suffering Lyme disease and had been given medication due to aggression).

Apparently the chimp's owner (also the victim's employer in connection with her towing business) has stated she can't be sued for the full amount claimed as the victim was her employee and workers' compensation rules limit the amounts that can be claimed for. The victim counter claims that as handling or dealing with a 14 stone pet chimp isn't part of her job description in the motor trade, she can. Jeez.

:D Cheers for the Laugh out loud.

O.P.
That bis totally ****** up, No eyes & a hole cut in her face to feed her, Hands ripped off, How did she survive the attack ?
As for Chimps they are mental & gang up to attack & eat other monkeys literally ripping them to pieces, Keeping one as a pet is nutz.
