A random name: you can't change the FOV at all, making it unplayable for some people
So this don't work ??

Found a fix for the FOV issue. Credit to Reaver.
Open your ..\Modern Warfare 2\players folder.

Edit the config.cfg file
paste the following directly below unbindall

set developer "1"
set sv_cheats "1"
set thereisacow "1337"
bind M "cg_fov 90"

save and make the file read only.

Press M in game to set the Fov.

I've got the same size monitor as you, and i'm playing with the standard FOV and i don't find it an issue at all :)

Yeah, that's why i said some people ;).

I don't have MW2 personally, so can't comment on whether it is a problem for me or not, but it does affect people, like it did with HL2 default FOV and some other games.

After extensive play today the only flaw I can find with the multiplayer is the guns don't have nearly enough recoil.

SP seems fun but MP is not as good as MW1. Mainly because it feels like a console game instead of a pc game. I hate the lobby system, its just like Halo 3. Lame.

Not sure if this has been covered already but in SP, is there anyway to turn your cross hair off? I much prefer having it off as I just don't like how it gets in the way but I can't seem to find an option for it. :(

^^^ no option in the console version so why should there be one on the pc version? lol.

Would love to be able to turn the music off... I hate music in games. Rather just hear the gun shots and ambient noises tbo.

not having fun at all atm on this **** Brazilian level, so fake and crap 1000 V 1 yawn. prob uninstall this if the next leves as annoying

does anyone else find the game "feels" really dated

i know its using the IW Engine 4 or something but it still feels a lot like Q3 to me

before the fanboys try to flame im not saying the game is bad just saying it "feels" old

PC games were £35 ten years ago, go figure.

£35 ~ 1999 - minimum wage introduced at £3.60 per hour.
£35 ~ 2009 - minimum wage @ £5.80 per hour

60% rise and the product is at the same price (or less).

I think it is fair to say the introduction of the minimum wage had many implications and realistically not many people have had a 60% increase in wages, but inflation has not been at 0% for a decade so games are cheaper than they have ever been, whether they are still overpriced is another matter. I think considering the length of some games they are and the reason they were so expensive years ago was due to it not yet being mainstream and as a niche market consumers were willing to pay.

I do not remember paying £35 for a PC game back in 1999...I remember buying FIFA 98 and that was £25 back in 1997. If I also remember rightly FIFA 99 and FIFA 2000 were around the same price...

lol yes really... :p especially since so many people are now complaining how the Steam version cannot be re-sold nor do you get a disc with it or manual...now a game like Shattered Horizon I can understand...paid only £13 for it and cant argue with that I say...

you guys had a crack at the Museum level after completing the SP? Just give it a try and see what I mean...it's just pure mayhem :D
