Just had a good game. Joined late, killed the entire team without dying and managed 20-0 just before it ended.

Used to do these a lot of the time on Cod4, but that was on the 360. Still getting used to playing it on the PS.

Oh, and MP5 is definitely the best weapon.

Hmm came up against a guy who was running around the whole game with a riot shied, how can 30 rounds not penetrate some plastic, he kept getting out his throwing knife I ended up throwing grenades at him.

The shields cannot be penetrated.

SP was a bit disappointing, my advice would be to avoid regular unless you are a real beginner. I rattled through it in less than 4 hours Uncharted 2 has MW2 licked in terms of the main campaign mode.

MP is another story though, can see me getting days worth of entertainment from it

Need to find some other kiwis to play Spec Ops with as I can't play with anyone from back in the UK due to the near 0.5-1 second ping!

We have all complained about this in the past and not a night goes past without someone (me included) moaning about now being able to kill one or two players due to lag etc...

Saying that this is by far and away the best net code around. I have more trouble on every other game online than I have on COD. Fifa is a great example of bad net code, there is only ever a maximum of 26 moving objects and that includes officials and it still struggles.

Halo and other shooters get around this by making it harder to kill people (full clips of assault rifle ammo for example) Its only really accentuated by COD because of the quick kills and just the number of hours we all spend in this game.

I am willing to bet most of you on here have spent more hours in the last 3 versions of COD than on any other game?

I've spent much more time on Halo 2, Ghost Recon 1 and Rainbow Six 3 on the original Xbox than I have on any other games.

yes they can

I shot somebody with my SCAR-H last night. Granted i had extra penetration perk, and it took extra bullets, but i shot him through the shield.

I had a bit of this last night. Its was the knifing that wasn't working.....felt like i'd be given one of those joke shops knives

Shoot them down! I carry a stinger as my seconday, anything airborne doesnt' stay up there long, most of the time they don't even get a kill with it.

Choppers etc to me = XP Piñatas

The lack of options online is what winds me up on this game... e.g. not being able to choose a map you want to play. I mean seriously come on. I don't want to have to quit the game everytime i play a crap map.

Then play private games! plenty of options there!

I don't know of any other MP games that let you play ranked matches on a map of your choice??

GOW2 has a slight option (it gives you the choice of two). however it takes ages to get into a game.

COD matchmaking system is so fast and personally I don't see the point of playing only one map. Where is the variety there?

i think the ninja perk is bugged because say if i am killed by someone with a heartbeat scanner i see my red dot on their scanner but i shouldn't be. also the same with the silent running perk. if i get killed by someone i can hear my footsteps as clear as day on their kill cam.

you might wanna mention that to the developers then - so they can fix it

The killcam is almost always different to what the enemy actually sees, hears and does. And by 'does' i mean that on many occasions on my screen in real-time, i have seen the enemy fire off a load of rounds at me and kill me, but on the killcam, it looks like he/she only fired off one or two.

So its probably more a display bug rather than an actual bug that would allow them to see you. I'm 99% sure its just the killcam thats at fault.

The killcam is almost always different to what the enemy actually sees, hears and does. And by 'does' i mean that on many occasions on my screen in real-time, i have seen the enemy fire off a load of rounds at me and kill me, but on the killcam, it looks like he/she only fired off one or two.

So its probably more a display bug rather than an actual bug that would allow them to see you. I'm 99% sure its just the killcam thats at fault.

on the killcam its done in slow motion or is that just the last winning kill at the end of a match?

Doesn't matter if its in slow-mo or not. The same was for COD4, the killcam more often than not looked completely different to what actually happened.

I cannot imagine this i actually broken, the new perks would have been tested far more than the originals this time around.

Also, the way to test it would be a quick private game with a friend who has a heatbeat sensor. see if they can actually see or hear you?

I would be interested to know the result of such a test

I get that as well.When I see the kill cam it shows me not firing a single shot even though I know I did

As for the question about finding it annoying: I certainly do!
I'm always shouting at my tv whilst playing it.From getting killed just after spawning(why is there no spawn protection?!) to wandering around a map for ages trying to find people to kill only to get killed by a camper or somebody shooting me in the back
