30 years of lifting? Jaysus, either you're huge, or you've reached equilibrium, or both!
Hehe I actually turned the last one down because access was through a fire escape 20 foot high and I knew in Winter or on a heavy legs day I would end up killing myself.I kinda like spit and sawdust gyms...
I would imagine if your serious about your lifting you may grow to hate your new gym if its just one of the usual commerical ones
Weird sentiments if you have been lifting for 30 years, but each to their own. Good luck in the new gym.
Old abandoned factories (at least for me).Spit and Sawdust?
I have seen the new DW in tunstall, Looks ok i would join but im in trentham petrol money would outlay the savings
My gym is in a factory from 1904 or something like that, real spit and sawdust, but I love it. Yes most regulars are on steroids but so what? If you don't want to take them that's fine but your post seemed to acknowledge their achievements very begrudgingly. Sorry but I just hate that attitude as one of the most hardworking guys I know is a "user" and the idea that everyone is a slacker as soon as they decide to take it to the next level pees me off.
Fixed.![]()
It must be the shiny metal fire exit/entrance round the back and upstairsIt does look similar although yours seems more upmarket
Yes there is that and I daresay the rest of the planet will all be gene doping in the next twenty years anyway. As for me well i'll just count myself lucky enough to be able to do what I am doing.Get up on stage peeled and the guy next to you on a gram of test, (not going into anything else here as its frowned upon) everything else being equal will destroy you, simple as that.
