Right or wrong, heals are very common in Asia for children.
Kids stores of the Mothercare type (never noticed them in an actual Mothercare here) sell them along with baby walkers soft toys and dummies.
They even have heals on 'flip flops' although it does make women walking in sand with them no look quite comical.
Personal opinion....... not for my kids, ok they are both boys
. Not for any future girl that may come along.

so was the binding of a persons feet to keep them from growing they are hardly the worlds experts in healthy feet
if it were a common family everyone would be scream CHAVS CHAVS! CHAV PEDO! KILL HIM! HANG HIM! LYNCH THE CHAV
even if it turns out she could be a potential minger they can always give her botox injections , plumper lips , boobjob , tummy tuck , a nose job etc before shes twelve and its to late
maybe even give them her as birthday presents every year starting when shes 4

first of all, that article is just full of filler - the writer goes on a little rant, and the story goes away from the main point.
if you look at the shoes she's got on, you can see a strap which is meant to go over the top of the ankle. she has merely stood on top of it - look close!. sh'es not 'wearing them'. It's just a classic case of the media doing what it does best - changing the meaning of a picture by writing BS which could be seen as being related.
The first part is basically planting the writers idea in the readers head, by setting a scene which we could relate to after seeing media coverage of award ceremony's and so on.

No one said they were. It was an observation not a justification.

hehe that's what i said about Emma Watson when the 3rd Harry Potter film came out.
I was laughing my ass off when she first appeared on screen in the 3rd movie and a bunch of adolescent boys started wolf wistleling at the screen LOL

There's a huge difference between saying that someone who is sexually mature is attractive but under our arguably arbitrary age of consent, and a 3 year old.
