Seriously messed up case. Considering the boy didn't actually 'assault' the little girl, it was a massive overreaction. If he had done however, I would understand why the dad did what he did. Though that's not to say I'd do the same thing, but it would certainly cross my mind.

the ones who commit the offences obviously dont have the self control

The dad was wrong, the boy was obviously in need of treatment/incarceration but not execution.

You did have the time to play around with my comments though by misquoting me. Again, I am telling you that what you saw as sarcasm I saw as racism. To me Petit's comment was clearly a racist one, there was no subtle humour remark or anything.
