Someone's wife's just gone into labour, perhaps the single biggest life changing moment of his life, and you asked what the point was in telling us :)
 
His comment wasn't a "so what" it was a "what is going on?"

Made clear by the fact he said he never bothered to read the thread.
 
I think probably things would've gone better if you edited your original post with an apology than continuing to post new replies defending your original one.

Well, with almost 5 babies born in the world per second, OP may have had a point.

HOWEVER, giving birth is possibly the most important point(s) of someones life (both the baby and the parents :)).
 
Ah OK - I'm getting no support here.

I'm a bit shocked to be honest.

I really thought that there was a good bunch of reasonably intelligent people here.

I DIDN'T KNOW SOMEONE WAS GIVING BIRTH!

It was all a bit cryptic!

Ah well.

No support or mods here so all I can do is save a copy of all these pages in my defence.
