The big bang was probably the result of the universe having collapsed in on itself then re expanded. ie the universe existed before the big bang.

That's the theory I like and I'm sticking to it.

There must have been something, even if we don't understand it, there has to have been some form of energy involved to create the mass we see in our Universe. If it came from other dimensions where the hell did the other dimensions get the energy from? mind boggling.

The fact that energy cannot be created or lost is only our perception of it. Who is to say that it is truly, definitely, impossible anywhere?

I don't think it's worth pondering this for too long. It's an endless debate with no real answers.

The universe is on a constant refresh cycle that completely renews itself with every start, its goal is to gradually reach perfection. Then when that happens the fabric of space will disappear as will our consciousness and we'll finally entHUUUNNNNGGGHHHH
