Possibly, but that's here nor there. The question is what do you think qualifies you to comment on the worth of an area of mathematical physics.
I'm allowed my own theory and am free to express it. Its not as though I'm sending it in to a scientific journal for publishing. It seems my theory of what 'may' have been is quite commonly accepted. It certainly doesn't make it ignorant or uninformed.
I wasn't aware you had an alternative approach - what does your theory predict for the perihelion advance of Mercury?
