The *Official* Eve Online Thread

Just thought i would throw an offer out.

If anyone wants to join up for some mining ops (new and old alike), i am willing to direct the op. No complicated splits or anything like that. Start at one time (15 min grace for the late comers) and finish at another. Everything mined gets split evenly between all those taking part, regardless of experience and whether they hauled or mined.

Op will take place in Hentogaria (or something spelled like that). No rare ores, but stacks of belts containing standard ore in large amounts.

Will be back playing after 10 Dec 09, so if your interested in it, either send me a message through here, or evemail me. Toon name is same as name here
 
What happens when your subscription runs out and you've still got skills in the training queue?

Do you keep getting skill points until the skills are trained or do you stop getting skill points as sson as the bought time runs out?
 
Although there is a grace period of a day or two where your skill training will continue but after that you are as good as asleep.
 
Okay then, I don't have a problem with the training halting when the subscription expires.

I was just wondering whether I could leave it a couple of days before converting my trial account if I wouldn't be able to get on to actually play the game.

Its OK, definately lots of PVP etc... In general they are a good bunch, but you need to be prepared to get slated when you mess up, and participate in ops.

Its been a lot of fun, sometimes quite demanding, but by the by I like it.

I think the best thing I find about PL is that they have some awesome FC's and ops/roams with them are just amazing.... on the other hand they have crap one also, but you learn to avoid their ops :)

Most of those systems I covered was 5 years ago, so it should be on there, unless it can only hold a certain *amount* rather than *time*
 
Was a bit peeved as I got popped in about 5 seconds and couldn't warp out fast enough but it's prompted me to get a ship with bigger shields and guns.:D
