Is Farcry 2 worth getting in this?

Also would get the THQ pack if I could give non-valve games that I already had...

I asked that too! :D

I'm thinking that with the graphics engine that's powering it I'm going to have to sit there for an hour or two and constantly tinker like I had to with Crysis to get a good balance, and I don't think I can really be bothered to do that. Not to mention that I've already owned it once on the 360 and although the game is probably leagues better on PC than 360 it still didn't manage to captivate me with it's not so thrilling gameplay.

You're given a large open world and the only means of transport are incredibly slow jeeps or buggies unless you catch one of the rather convenient buses which can drop you off near a mission location which just ruins the realism for me. If you do decide to hoof it on foot to a mission location then good luck because it takes a damn age. If you decide to drive then you can expect to be constantly attacked by both factions on the entire journey, regardless of the fact that you are working for either one or both of them they still try and kill you, despite you not provoking them or having done nothing wrong. :(

I'm sure it's really immersive on the PC and the controls are probably quite good but from my point of view it was rubbish on the 360, I was hoping somebody could tell me that the PC version is much better though.

I've played FC2 on the pc and i didn't like it tbh. Travelling takes up most of the playing time and it's just too slow. But it has nice graphics.. just not my cup of tea. I much prefer CoD, L4D style games.

Grid £3.74 :)

was holding off till it was on steam deal again

same as! Well chuffed, i missed it last time it was on offer :D

I can't believe there are people that dis-like steam lol.

I guess it is because in 5 days it will be teh 1st of december :D Then only 18 days till i come home and only 25 till its xmas day and i get a big roast haha hehe :D

If i like toca3, bf2, cod4, arma2, borderlands, css etc, and i've never been a fan of games like lara croft, would i like Batman? I've only ever heard good things about it, but idk!

Batman is KINDA like the style of the old Spiderman games (Or that's what it reminds me of anyway), but a lot better :)

Also, if you have time, download the demo first and try it out! 39 hours to go! :P

I really should spend my money on PC games instead of tat like figures and anime collectibles, I would probably have much more fun :p

I could have so many games :p

only problem is i am on my laptop until the 18th of december when i get back home. I buy games that i can play at home and then little more indie-esque games for at uni on me laptop. 91 on meta score.

Basically, what sort of person wouldn't like it?

I'm going to try out the demo but idk. I'd just like to know i suppose the answer to the question above.

edit-decided against batman. I don't need it. I've got frontlines i havent installed yet, i have world of goo still unfinished, ive got guybrush threepwood that need completing, ive got toca3 that need completing, ive got borderlands that need completing, ive got grid that needs installing ive got plants vs zombies that needs more time, heck i've even still got hl2 ep1 and 2 to complete and start respectively.

Must conserve money and not be so left click happy. It has become even easier now they store card details! lmao.
