Deus Ex 3 PC exclusive "due to the complexity of the game. "

Can't see it happening tbh. It'll be interesting for sure but I see U-Turns down it's development.

Will be great if they stick to their word :) The few remaining companies who still seem to be making PC-exclusive titles are getting more and more much deserved love from the PC community :D Hugs all round.

Thief 4 and Deus Ex 3! I didn't even know they were in production.

This is great news, but not enough to get my hopes up. I hope they're not looking at anything relating to Dues Ex 2, and if it's PC only, they shouldn't be. Dues Ex 2 was absolutely disgraceful.

You've just called one of the greatest games ever created...boring. Think about what you've said.

I couldnt get into it either which was annoying, because I can appreciate why people do like it. I tried - multiple times, I just dont dig on fps-rpg hybrids. I cant get into similar games either (bio/system shock etc).

it won't be getting a console release due to the complexity of the game.
errrm crysis comes to mind:rolleyes: all so means it won't even run well unless you have a 3k pc

I'm thinking they mean complexity of storey/interface rather than graphics.

That was my interpretation also. Hopefully they'd learn from the past and know that Deus Ex was epic and Invisible War was pathetic.

I don't get all the hatred for Thief 3. I thought it was quite a good game.

Consoles can have it too, just hope it has all the augments from the first, and plays aswell, great story, etc....

To the doubters. Why are you so sceptical?

Everything in this article points to them returning back to form, I mean the fact square have got involved who make some of the best games in the buisness is enough. And then the fact they are actually making it complex! And pc exclusive come one!

Still I don't reckon this is gonna be pc exclusive, just not gonna happen. Crysis sales vs modern warfare 2. Easy decision for a dev.

Sqaure Enix own Eidos now, probably just as simple as Eidos Montreal not having the skills or resources to do the cutscenes in house so it got shipped off for another department to do. Sqaure Enix have an amazing rendering setup but if this game is PC only then they arent going to spend huge amounts of cash on cutscenes so they probably wont be up to FFXIII standards.

As for doubting, Deus Ex was a fantastic game, Deus Ex 2 was just a shamless cash in on the name. Had 2 not been made and this was the sequal then people would probably be a bit more excited however given the series has produced one classic and one steaming turd most people are going to hold off judgement until it actuly comes out .

In its defence though, has almost been 3 years in development so chances of a quick cash in are slim
