Numpty robs £25k from Local bank and runs to his house, opposite

FF does it not still work to get rid of the dyed cash by using it in self service machines at train stations and vending machines? Buy a the cheapest ticket with a dyed £20 and you will get a "clean" £18 back or whatever?

Time consuming but worth it for £25k ;)

Yeah some machines don't detect the dyed money - that's just a fact. And on the black market they often don't care that it's dyed. However it's very easy to trace dyed money and anyone that has had contact with dyed money. :)

Is that thru smart water? Saw it on one of the police shows that they were scanning all the scummer's hand's with a special UV light to see whether they had any traces of it on when they were veing arrested. How long does it stay on your hands for? (not that I'm planning to be brum's 2nd mongtard bank robber! :D)

Pretty smart system. If the contents are insured then surely it'd be wise to have some kind of system whereby the container can be inked remotely? I.e. as soon as the guard calls it in stolen, or even a system where the guard can do it himself. I think that would be the ultimate deterrent from ever thinking about stealing from a van.

it's possible that the ink goes off when it's gets so far away from the van/bank as well.

There's lots I could tell you but I've said more than enough really.

Put it this way, you'd have to be a) very serious about doing it b) be very clued up on the technology available c) have a very well planned execution of the theft d) post theft plan - i.e. for the different type of boxes, the site planned, base, car switches, and suitable equipment to deal with the paraphanalia etc...

It really would be a desperate measure - the majority of boxes are recovered for starters and further more we get a 100% conviction rate following an arrest if the person has been involved, if they have been involved we can prove it owing to the ability demonstrating involvement in the crime without equivocation.

The fact that he robbed a bank with just a T-shirt and stick is brilliant, it gets cancelled out by the act of stupidity at the end though.

The best theft is legal or close to it aka embezzlement or fiddling the expenses like mp do

I think I would have turned the freezer on full and put the money in there or immerse it in water though I think that would set it off probably or it'd be too easy
