I'm glad you ran the stats Danny, because that's been my tactic as well but it just takes too long with the FMJ and I'm playing with guns I don't particularly enjoy playing with.

Unfortunately, my beloved AUG Hbar is maxxed out on pretty much everything so do need to start using other guns

Its very hit and miss..

I agree with that.I played a game yesterday on estate and I know for a fact I shot 2 people through a wall.Both of them being people camping in the toilet at the top of the stairs.Yet my count didn't go up for it

I wonder if it's the shots that caused the most damage or the shot that caused death (i.e: opponent runs into building and the killing shot was while he was inside)

NEVER!!! Don't cheat on the AUG, its supple contours require your attention

I've only got the 250 headshot challenge to go for the AUG as well

Using the Aug Hbar with stopping power, scavenger and Grip makes it feel like I'm cheating.. I mean it has range, the iron sight is better than the dots and I don't really have to be accurate, I just start spraying as I have no concern for amount of bullets left, and the other guy goes down

I agree the Iron Sights on the AUG are far better than either dot or holo.

I've been using Bling with Grip + Extended Mags.

But might have a go with that Scavenger setup instead

I prefer the SPARTAAAAAAA Riot Shield set up.

Riot Shield
Whatever for 2nd, you won't use it.

Smoke/Blast Shield

Marathon Pro
Lightweight Pro
Commando Pro


Chuck in smoke, then... "FOR SPAARRTAAAAAAAAA" as you charge all epicly through the smoke cloud and bash the enemy to death (preferably over a cliff edge).

Great for Terminal, and Favela (especially when leaping rooftops in a single bound).



(Does nothing for your K : D ratio, but is a great stress reliever)

CS player in me says its pointless and i never see anybody else using it so have never felt inspired. I'm going to create a riot shield class tonight

It's just hillarious when you see people stop dead in their tracks and kind of do a o.O - WTF?!

Then suddenly realise you are coming for them and it changes to O.O - OMG!!! as they back peddle hip firing like a mad man


Quite often you'll get taken out, but its all worth it for those times where you do charge at them like a juggernaut, bullets pinging off your shield in every direction, then crunch them into a wall

It's a great tactic!

I personally love fighting people who are using the shield, a nice challenge and change of pace. I've become a bit of a mean person at being able to shoot them in the feet, even whilst crouched down too. More often than not it's my friend and i charging them with our rafficas.

This game is going in the bin, my router is a pile of crap and every game I lag and I cant get it the NAT to open it takes me 10 mins to join a match and who goes on Headquarters and spends all the time sniping, 39 kills and 5 deaths, people don't understand the game modes.

Mines always been Moderate and never have a problem joining a game?

Lag i've had, but usually the server just migrates after a short time and its all good.


As for people not following the game modes, well sniping is a perfect valid tactic as a defensive class in HQ... (not that I ever snipe, can't stand it), more times he kills them less chance there is of them capturing the HQ...

dunno what enjoyment people get from sniping. its so boring, much more fun to get stuck into the action. you might not always get amazing k/d ratios but who honestly gives a ****. just enjoy the game win or lose.

Some people enjoy sniping I guess. Personally I find it dull but not everyone is the same.

Exactly. I just don't understand the mentality of someone who plays every single round the same.

Spawn -> Run to Sniper Spot -> Shoot until dead -> Spawn -> Run to Sniper Spot etc etc etc.

Every round you see them go to the same places over and over again...
