The PhysX didnt crash my pc but whenever glass was broken my computer really struggled framerate wise, maybe down to 10 fps or so. Annoyingly the slow down also stayed once the glass had finished doing its thing.
I turned it off and the only difference I can see is the glass doesn't break quite as "epically". The way it broke and cascaded down with PhysX on seemed a tad unrealistic and OTT to me anyhow.
game is much better with keyboard and mouse in my experience, the 360 controller was just getting annoying, but then I don't own any new consoles anyway, so I'm used to the extra precision you get.
I really enjoyed Mirrors Edge, but the one thing it lacks is an atmosphere. It feels like your running round the streets on a christmas day. No one around at all.
It's the first game i've played on pc with the 360 controller
