Mirrors Edge: Is it worth 3.24?

ok got the game trying keybpard and it is tricky to get to grips with :p

whats the default button for skill roll ? it says LT i dont have a LT or am i just being thick :D

I haven't played it on the PC, but I can't imagine trying to play it without a controller, I had a hard enough time doing it on the 360 :)

Yeah I had this it was awful. Disabled Physx and turned V Sync off and it worked fine. I didn't have the best of screens though tbh

The PhysX didnt crash my pc but whenever glass was broken my computer really struggled framerate wise, maybe down to 10 fps or so. Annoyingly the slow down also stayed once the glass had finished doing its thing.

I turned it off and the only difference I can see is the glass doesn't break quite as "epically". The way it broke and cascaded down with PhysX on seemed a tad unrealistic and OTT to me anyhow.

It was worth the money, yes.

game is much better with keyboard and mouse in my experience, the 360 controller was just getting annoying, but then I don't own any new consoles anyway, so I'm used to the extra precision you get.

Great game. There was a thread around here on it but can't find it.

Also its a bargain at that price. It is a little short but it is an interesting mix of FPS immersion and puzzles. :)

What is on sale now? it changes at 16:00 each day. I can't access the Steam page from here :(

At 4? :( No way that sucks. Shoulda got it late last night but thought i had another day. Should have looked at the countdown timer.

I can't see anything on sale at the moment.

I really enjoyed Mirrors Edge, but the one thing it lacks is an atmosphere. It feels like your running round the streets on a christmas day. No one around at all.

It's the first game i've played on pc with the 360 controller
