no. sure its annoying, but i love a hard game. If somebody is going to resort to cheating, im going to try to beat them fair and square. It's that challange word again:)

i see where your coming from, but god ive been tempted sometimes, specially on a couple of mw/mw2 games where the guy has been lording it over everyone.

No, if the option were available I'd vote to have that player kicked, otherwise I'd find a better server.

what does an aimbot do? target assisting of varing levels, from a little to boomheadeshot. Is this difficult to understand? no it isn't.

Wallhacks? well lets see i think...and correct me if im wrong here.... but i think it allows you to see through walls, to see enemy positions when you otherwise wouldnt.

So what else is there that i have "no idea what they do", or my "phenominally simplistic outlook" can't comprehend?

Bit of advice Surfer, this is online cheating, not astrophysics - stop with the crap.
 
I would/ have. It's great fun for half an hour with friends but whats the point long term? It won't help you get better and it won't be fun for more than a few minutes :confused:

you might be behind a wall - aimbot would still aim. you might be behind a barrel or some other piece of scenery - aimbot would still aim. does that change the difficulty? no. would you die in that situation? maybe not. But would i shoot you dead every time i had a clear shot if i were using an aimbot? oh you can put money on it. No challange, no reward, no fun.

try harder.

So because you wont die every time you encounter someone with an aimbot means that they're fine to use?

Regardless, the hacking player is still getting a massive advantage being able to automatically aim better than they would normally, as well as detecting targets they may not have noticed or be able to see.

Sounds to me like you are trying to justify cheating, surfer. It's so obvious - it should've clicked sooner. Well, well done omnipotent one; you are clearly a library of knowledge when it comes to the world of online cheating and its complex social circles and behavior.

Id tell my mate to stop being such a puss and learn to play properly. Also to stop using his time to make hacks for games and actually play them instead.

Where do i say that they are fine to use?

I'm saying that its not black and white - them OR us. More likely it is US & us. (talking in riddles but meh). The cheater is part of the community - you might not know it but they are. Cheats just get more complex - but it isnt in the interest of for example Punkbuster devs to throw up their hands and say "we cant stop squat"

Most assuredly the hacking player is getting a clear, unfair advantage and it would be a wonderful world if a game could autodetect with 100% accuracy who is cheating and the game would then execute its own counter-cheat code that rendered hardware unusable on the cheater's pc. That is a fantasy though.... btw i didnt just make all this up coz im bored and like arguing with folk i have spent quite a few years on this....
 
Would never play with an aimbot. There is a part of me that is curious to what it is like to use, but what is the point in playing if you're not actually playing?
