Has anyone with 5770 crossfire benched the Dirt 2 demo yet?

I'm getting realy crap FPS with my Asus 5770 CF.

Yeah, i was getting 72fps average with everything on ultra and 1920*1080res.
Have you tryed the dirt 2 patch?? Its meant to improve crossfire

The Swiftech won't fit no matter what you do to it. I have the same problem with my Aquaextreme MP-1. The only block i have found that will fit is the XSPC X2O VGA Waterblock which is quite old now and cost's around £22. EK does have a full cover block coming out soon but it will cost almost half the price of the card and only fit a 5770. Personally i think these full cover blocks are a total waste of money.

Thats not true, I found a guide to modifying it which involved removing corners, enlarging the holes in the PCB and getting 4 long small socket M3 hex bolts.
Its a risky job because you have to file the PCB and there is a slight chance of crushing the core.

Anyway, whats wrong with my Control Center, it won't let me change anything and I can't find Overdrive? Is my .NET out of date or is it corrupt?

Forgot that one. Are you using that block? What's the inside like? Is it pins or just flat? The only problem i have with that is that it's aluminium and i don't really want to mix metals in the loop.

Mixing metals is irrelevant if they are not in contact with one another electrically in addition to the water.

dont know what to compare it with tbh

also is it running in dx 11 mode automatically or 9 or even 10, couldn't see anything in options

The Asus as it's a voltage tweak version and should clock better.

It was corrupt. I can now get overdrive in the Graphics section.

I also can't find anything there which mentions which DX mode its running in.

ive just rid of my 2x asus 4850's before they went down even further.

still got £55 each for them on the bay.

just got one 5770 at the moment but im well happy i changed now.

Update on my cards FYI both asus cards found to be faulty how strange.

"Following extensive tests by our returns technicians, this items was found to be faulty." they also said it took them 3 days to find the faults dam slippery little blighters

NB this was nothing to do with ocuk

No mate ocuk had nothing to do with my cards....only because they didt have stock of the asus cards v1 at the time.

Had little blue pixlels all over the screen when 2d mode sometimes would crash (surfing,youtube) like you would get from atifacts. Cooling was not a problem cards were stock. Emailed AMD direct they said is was not a driver problem like people keep hoping it is and i should RMA the cards. Got my money back just now..3 different asus products in 1 month all faulty .....i can feel the hate comeing on

Windows 7 ultimate 64bit retail buddy, and my Abit IP35 pro BIOS is up to date, realy realy strange.
