Mirrors Edge: Is it worth 3.24?

This probably aint the place to post this but Zeno Clash is priced at £3.7 something.

It definitely worth it for the wierdness, uniqueness and punchiness.

I've bought both Mirrors and Zeno and I've got no money.

Can someone post a screen-dump of todays (post 16:00) steam offers please. I can't view that website from here.

I really enjoyed Mirrors Edge, but the one thing it lacks is an atmosphere. It feels like your running round the streets on a christmas day. No one around at all.

It's the first game i've played on pc with the 360 controller

Well,

1. That's because 90% of the game is in high security building or on rooftops.

2. That's because it's set in a utopia where the population are heavily controlled by corporations/government.

ok any help im just entering the green section through the large sewer type thing how do i get up on to the ladder ?

do i run aoround the wall or what ? i just cant seem to get it very infuriating :D

thats the one any ideas / help

Spoiler for ladder bit described above:

Run straight up the wall directly opposite to the ladder. At top of jump, press Q to turn around and jump again, thus landing on the ladder.

This thread made me install it again on Monday, showed the missus and she was all "ooooh, pretty!" :D

me chasing a nab on a roof :p

Lol you should deffinately hold shift when your about to land from those big jumps to do a roll, also to slide under the stuff your crouching under :D

My first day too though so im kinda slow getting around and stringing all the bits together is going to take some doing.

It's a lovely little game, but I'm getting performance issues when being chased by loads of mooks. Dropping all the graphics settings to low fixes it, but I want to play at high graphics levels. I had hoped a 4850 would be able to handle that? Even Crysis runs better when things get busy.
