Twilight Fans are pretty hardcore

I bet the person who wrote Twilight is laughing though, why be a good writer when you can just con little girls and take all of their parents' cash? Way easier.

such a sad state of affairs, though it's happened throughout time, people swamping celebs for their minor influences on their lives, the beatles, Micheal Jackson etc, all just very sad that people have to revert to fantasy to make their lives worth living lol

I watched the first one, I turned it off after half an hour as it just really annoyed me.

A few days later I managed to watch the rest of it and thought it was just ok.

These crazy obsessed fans should be put down tbh.

I thought about watching this just to see what all the fuss was about, but perhaps it's best avoided...
I think the fuss is fuelled by the books really, as mentioned in http://theoatmeal.com/story/twilight the Edward character is built up to be this absolute epitomy of what women want, for many this has translated to pattinson. Unless you have a liability to fall in love with the description of a poncey but strong fella then I don't think there's much fuss to buy into, other than that it's just another teen-targetted vampire flick.

I haven't seen it but 2 female friends were round talking about going to see the second one and how much they fancied whatever his name is. I was calling them retarded, then asked my bird if she fancied him and her response was classic "Nah he's one of those pretty boy fags"

Guess I'm a rougher lol

If only she used those mouth covering skills to stop putting so much cake in her hole this world would be a far prettier place.

Legendary comment.

I personally don't see the appeal in it all, maybe due to my powers of rational thinking. Every element of the story seems either contrived or implausible and the books read like a 15 year old girls diary. I read the opening page of the first book and that was a struggle, its a mess.

Got to love this bit of the story:
In the 3rd book, the chick gets with the werewolf fella just to prove she's in love with the vampire. But then surely if this was the romance the first two books had built it up to be she wouldn't have needed to answer that question? Infidelity rules!

It freaks me out that's for sure! All these girls say they hve boyfriends etc - if my girlfriend decided to get so obsessed with a fictional character that she wanted me to act like him in some way - I'd be out the door faster than you can say "get away from me you crazy psycho-?!£&@" :p

So wait these vampire, when they're out in the sunlight, the shimmer? Not burst into flames? I'm sorry, but wheres the downside in that? Why doesn't everyone in Twilight world become vampires, and all enjoy eternal life?
