***Official Left 4 Dead 2 Thread***

Let's sort a game out tonight then guys, are you all Vent users too btw? (see Knub's earlier poist with Vent details if not!)

I can't blame you, I should've gone to bed before the game myself tbh.

Which was your last tank? The 1 after the sewer? I have no idea how we survived that...

I think the only reason we didn't get completely destroyed was the fact alarms didn't seem to be working on the server, not one got set off the entire game, despite tank punching car into us, smokers into them, jockeys into them actually shooting them :) also, I didn't survive that tank :(
 
Nah the alarms turn off the moment the tank punches them. They did that some time into L4D1.

That first level was just dodgy... despite our best attempts to set off the car it didn't go off... and instead we wiped them all completely by accident :D

Yeah, that was me. Took forever for you lot to kill me - poor Substance was waiting to get in, while I was running around, hiding behind vans and flinging cars about the place like a child in a temper :D

Actually, I got smoked into the car, then saved, then I got jockeyed into the car and on neither occasion did the alarm go off :D just before we ran out someone suggested we shoot the car and I said, "nah, just be careful, we'll be fine".... and it didn't matter that the alarm was broken - we still got face-humped! :D

Legendary :D

There is a new elevator at the end of the Mall map so I think that is the new time and place.

One problem about that video is that there is no Coach :D
 
I think the big problem with this game now is the fact that one person can make a huge difference to how the game goes. I know this was also the case with L4D1 but it did n't seem to make as much a difference.

I play pretty regular now with the same people, a lot from here, and before the game has even started you know exactly how the game is going to go. If your on the side with the weaker team its actually a pretty horrible game to have to play but then its not nice to RQ so your stuck for an hour odd getting really fed up with it!

Never seems to be a close game , more a case of an easy win or getting absolutely slaughtered!

Something I've always thought was missing from that level, especially when you consider that before the level you're fighting off waves of zombies and at the top there is generally a tank waiting. Relaxing music here would do wonders for the mind.

I've been in VS games decided by the last map and about 10 points. I've been in a scavenge game that was decided by a 16/16 draw in round 5 :) You get close games. But I've alse been in games where one team is so outmatched there's no point playing
