From what I've seen of the trailers, the "ugliness" is entirely intentional, and it's Cameron's idea of "alien". IMNSHO they look like aliens designed by the Disney Corporation: disregard the face for a moment, and catch the perfect bodies. It's quite clear that they are designed to be an "alien" Noble Savage. Not for the first time, Cameron's sentimentality gets the better of him.

Flop just like his Titanic which is the highest grossing film in the history of cinema?

Yes like Aliens, a film which was one of the highest grossing films ever when it finished its cinema run, and Terminator 2, oh, and True Lies......

Whats he talking about do you think?

Piranha 2?

Mabye he's thinking of Jim Davidson, Or David Cameron.

Just saw a trailer for this, looks pretty good effects wise just hope the plot will follow

This was my feeling after watching the long trailer last night. Its looks excellent but then as we've learnt with computer games, pretty does not always translate to good.

EDIT - Anyone know what the running time is for the film and whether its suitable for an 8 year old girl? She sat through Transformers 2 and seemed to like it.

3h is far too long for most people and kids.
A Christmas release will smash box office records. (i predict)
It looks a bit "gay" tho i still will watch it.
