*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

I'm still not settled on a weapon.

In COD4 I used the M4 pretty much exclusively as it was a jack of all trades. Please don't tell me I'm going to have to use the M4 again in MW2! The only other fully automatic gun I like is the TAR-21 but at times the bullet spray on it has meant I've not killed someone I'm pointing right at. Who's got suggestions?

On a really good server yes i would agree than the M16 is basically the best gun to use in every situation.

But for me (could be just my connection) I have real trouble using it after using the M4 in COD4 and now the SCAR and ACR in MW2. Lag really hurts the performance on the M16 unfortunately :(
 
FFA has got on my bits tonight, both lobbies I've been in has had team players. Two clan tag mates covering buildings care packs etc together. Then I caught them team killing for killstreaks. ****s.
 
I'm annoyed they removed the G36C, loved that gun in CoD4. I'm on the UMP45 now, it's good but doesn't feel quite as right as the G36 did.

I have been very average tonight that is how i am on MW2 , some very good games and average to bad ones :p at least there was 5 of us in the party at 1 point so a good laugh :) .
 
I always seem to peak after 3-4 games, start off doing ok, have a few really good matches then really start to fall off, think I played about 8 FFA games tonight, 2nd in 1 & 2, 1st in 3, 4, 5 and then for the next 3 simply didn't place at all, just can't seem to play MW2 MP for a long time at once, which I guess, is a good thing in a way :p
 
Just finished the campaign missions, had a few games on live but keep getting my ass handed to me :) suppose i'll get better, maybe haha. currently level 5 online.

It is getting used to the maps and the way people play also when you can create a class you will do better :) .
 
So whats its like overall then guys? Im still deployed in Afghan at the mo (RnR in 3 days, get in!) and not been able to read any reviews. Im hoping its at least as good as the first right....

multiplayer is as good, there are some things better, some things worse, single player campaign was absolute dross compared to CoD4 in my opinion, just completely ridiculous, over the top waste of time but some people like it. spec ops is an excellent addition (basically a series of 'challenges' or extra missions akin to the bonus aircraft mission on CoD4).
