Cheers for the reply, well guess I will just have to try it when I get home and see. Was hoping for another decent SP but before I deployed the videos looked a bit over the top if I remember correctly. Oh well, 3 days left!
 
On a spur of a moment thing decided to try the Spartan Class last night

Riot shield, lightweight, commando and marathon

Was chasing snipers all round the map and was wooting and laughing my head off over voice chat. Back in the lobby afterwards the opposition were all like WTF. It was incredibly funny !

Managed to unlock commando pro in one night solely using the riot shield. And then other people started copying me and there were about 3 of us running round with one lol.

Also got a throwing knife kill as well juat for laughs. Need to try without the shield and just be a witch i reckon. Taking me ages to unlock marathon pro. Too much running :/
 
My killstreaks always get cut short by some bad luck. I was straking really well on rust the other day and then someone kills this guy with martyrdom miles away from me and the grenade rolls/bounces down one of those ramps and off to the side just in time to explode on my head.
 
Just played the map wastleland for the first time.Its a carbon copy of the cod1 classic map brecourt.im sat there playing a 6 year old map or so.nice to know at least one map of the top of my head

I love the sparta for when I'm having a crap game or lagging badly for a laugh. People are starting to get wise to it now though, I had a guy last night just back off and go prone, then shoot me in the feet.
 
Wasn't sure if I'd get into this online but it's ****ing brilliant. :D Up to level 15 now and getting the hang of using a pad. Had my first game earlier where I got more kills than deaths. :)
 
Started playing online for the first time properly last night. Up to Level 5. Getting killed a lot more than I kill (most I've had is 4 in one game!) but not as much as others are. Usually last or thereabouts, but having good fun. Just finding my feet - really quite innaccurate and my guns seem really week in comparison to some I steal.

Best game so far was on one of the larger 12-18 player games. I captured Point C having thrown a smoke grenade, gone prone and just kept wildly shooting my shotgun to win the game last minute. Got lots of 'nice one' back in the lobby from people much younger than me. :D

Any tips from you pros as to how to just improve my general play?

Try using the UMP45 with stopping power then equip rapid fire when it's unlocked.I'm nearly level 60 and I still use that gun as it's powerful and accurate.
And I recommend using either scavenger or sleight of hand.When either go up to pro they're very useful indeed.As is commando pro.
 
what the **** is with all the javelin glitches for gods sake!

Nearly all the opposite team are running around like a suicide bomber, they have no intention of shooting you as they just run at you looking. Then without a doubt some dweeb on my team shoots him killing everyone!

What would you like them to do? stand back while they knife everyone?

Its a no win scenario.
 
I noticed a peak in activity yesterday when the kids got home from school so I would guess its the same again. PS3 is patched apparently and 360 patch was submitted to MS cert 12hrs ago.

There are matchmaking improvements as well as a fix for rock glitch on Afghan which thankfully I've only encountered once.

EDIT: The PS3 is only a partial patch and it still doesn't include the Javelin fix.

Its quite simple just move away, I just ran off and left anyone trying to do that as they wont pull a gun on you and if they are out of knife range they just look else where.
