I kid. but to be honest why do you go racing? For fun. And these cars have been tweaked for 'driving experience', aka fun.
 
Not sure how they handle with all the traction control etc off. As they don't turn the bugger off on the experience days! The track you used for them is too tight and has barriers.

I bloody hated driving them both times I got to. No steering feel imo. TC sapping power when you try to get on the power early and the bloody paddle shift sucks. It really is pretty delayed. Step into the 911 later in the day and oh boy is it a different animal! (loved the 911)

No these cars have been setup and built to a different specification, they are not race ready.

They are trackday ready but will need some work i guess, the idea of a trackday is to get the chance to drive your car round a track, not to race.

The idea of a Race, as the name would suggest is to have fun and try your best to win, different kettle of fish, different standards, different caliber setup and build of car needed.

I suppose. Thing is wasn't the XKR designed as a grand tourer? Not very helpful that it's not road legal... shouldn't be that hard to make it so. I doubt you'd find one in this good condition for this price though.
