Anyone loan me £30k?

I haven't changed my point, in my personal opinion its a rubbish over priced french rot box.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, right?

I'd imagine that the body is galvanised like all 205s so there's a good chance it won't rot either.

If I had a spare £30k I'd love to have something like this in a heated garage, just for sunny days.

A good chunk of it is fibreglass over spaceframe, so no worries there.

Love the "lets get an Evo instead" boy's, they just dont get it, this car is the roadgoing version of the car that won the WRC Group B class many times. It is fairly simple to turn it into a 450bhp fire breathing 4wd if you lust for performance (and probably death). It will only ever increase in value, unlike the Evo's sold today which are mass produced, overserviced junk.

That Lotus Cortina is automotive porn!

Just the porn your dad used to read ;)

FWD with 200bhp, you don't even understand what you are looking at, what a muppet :D

Watch and learn!

Evo's and Scoobys only dream about being this good!

Does the f mean four?

Already admitted I was wrong on that, chill.

I also love his exposure to 450bhp FWD cars, i can't name any off the top of my head.

Did I say I had drove any? I have seen video's of cars running 450fwhp and I have owned 2 cars with 250bhp+ on fwd.

I have a Civic running 270bhp, weight was about 1060Kgs, it had an LSD but it was still hard to get the power down. Irrelevant anyway as this isn't fwd, that was my mistake.

Sorry for not knowing about some old 205 rally car, not really my thing hence I know nothing about them.

Please don't compare Evo's, Civic's etc etc. to a T16. Theres no point explaining your argument in this thread, by trying to convince you what the T16 is about will obviously confuse you. I don't mean any offence, but by reading your post's in this thread is pretty clear.

Some of them T16 videos on YouTube give me goose bumps!

Sod it, my Guns and Roses CD is ready to play in my 205. See you guys later, im going out to have some fun with the rush hour traffic!

You aren't wrong mate, they are gorgeous. Certainly way prettier than the Delta S4, which was an ugly POS.

Indeed. My opinion is that you're an uninformed spanner who enjoys a good troll.

About the only bits it has in common with the "over priced french rot box" with which is shares a name is the door handles and the lights. It's 1 of 200 ever made, road legal version of a Group B rallycar. It's a road legal race car with a detuned engine. How many Evo's, Scoobies, <insert tuner car here> etc have a spaceframe chassis with a composite body? I'll give you a clue. None.

Audi Quattro was not the Audi Quattro Sport, it was the forerunner.

The RS200 was a failure in Group B, although improved in Rally-X.

The point is you clearly know zero about the T16 and made some pretty random and uninformed statements in a thread about an 80's collectors car that is currently selling well below its value.

As for top of the list, in alphabetical order...

/facepalm

Still the same shape as the normal 205, i.e. ugly.

I don't like it, that's my opinion and my personal taste, why are you trying to argue with me? I don't care that you all like it, I'm not trying to convince anyone else not to like it, just said my opinion on it.

It shared a windscreen as well, lets not forget its a mid engined car! and won the WRC both years it competed, partly due to the S4's propensity to crash and burn.

;)
