ugh, that was a horrible game, worse than a pub. still won, but had no fun doing so, if I get angry over comms you know I'm truly raging :) can we block all idiots from playing, playing bad is fine, being a retard isnt :( server is full of randoms atm, as much as I want to play 8v8

yeah, I'm tepted to start a chat get 16 decent ocuker/regulars i nit then start a 8v8 and everyone all join rather than getting randoms.
 
Yeah it annoys me when people decide that 8v8 is obviously not a proper game so therefore they can play like morons and not even try to survive.
 
Joined 8v8 briefly... Seems to be a weird issue where you can insta-die. I was vaguely trying to walk into something that was blocked and went from ~40 health (no incaps) to dead without being attacked/etc. Very odd.
 
Yeh the physical server crashed twice, so stopped all l4d2 servers for now. OcUK 3,4 and 7 are all independant though so are still running.

Frenchtart is looking into it. Will let you all know when OcUK 1,2,5+6 are back up again.
 
It looks like they're been fixed now. Linktart 1 is up and Linktart 2 has started working since i began typing this message. At least, its no longer 'timed out' in HLSW.

And before i even finished that sentence, they all seem to be up again. Although they don't seem stable looking at it... pings are higher than normal and they occasionally show timeout for a second or 2.
 
I joined for about the 8v8 for about 5 minutes, seemed to be full of people just randomly wandering around with no scope for teamplay. Didn't know most of them either. Won't be playing 8v8 if its like that.

We can hope not... always had ****ty games occasionally on the L4D version though when people weren't even trying. Theres another going now that will hopefully be better. Just setting up the lobby.
 
Don't think they'll all be like that Defrag, we certainly had great fun on Sunday night. I think Tefal's idea is probably the best, getting 16 half way decent players involved (+ alcohol) and it should be good fun.
 
That game on sunday was awesome. I think at least 12 were on my friends list. It's much much better when the team stay close just like a normal vs match (makes it easy for me to boom 24 players in less than 2 mins) Cha'mone :D

I quickly joined another 8v8 tonight (mon) and like already said, it was full of unknowns and a few yanks on there too.
