How many bank accounts / credit cards do you have?

Barclays Savings (no card)
Barclays Connect (Visa Debit) - Current account
Barclays Connect (Visa Debit) - Joint account

Only ever keep ~£200 in my current account as I have a weekly standing order set up that sucks the funds in to the savings account.

Not true!

I had my wallet stolen in Thailand, so having the majority of my money split over two current accounts (with one of the cards not kept in my main wallet) = sensible.

Fair enough, Then again the guidance I have been given by my work says differently :p

I have one "real" wallet and one "fake" wallet. The fake one I will take with me when I go out and about while abroad and I will have at least 30pounds (or the local equiv) in it and any addition money for spending like food etc plus my corporate credit card.

The real wallet will stay in the hotel locked in my bag. That will have my personal cards in. If I want cash from my personal account I will use a bank at the hotel and just carry cash.

I use this all the time. I have been mugged in Bangkok, Kampala and Rabat. The only thing I have ever lost is a small amount of cash and a work credit card, not my problem :)

Even if I travel for personal reasons, I still follow this rule :)

1 student account (with debit card)
1 current account (with debit card)
1 credit card (mastercard, linked with student account)

I, like Burnsy, should probably set up an ISA for savings though.

1 MasterCard Credit
1 Amex Corporate
1 Business Account for my property
1 Personal Account that's 110K in the red

Stopped saving years ago, never looked back.

Yeah ok ok - it's a one account!
Good for getting out of situations when a friend or gf asks for money though, I simply show log into an ATM and show them the balance!

At the moment.
HSBC current account
HSBC credit card (Emergencies only)
Nationwide bank account of some kind (haven't used since I was 16)

Went to HSBC when I got a job that paid into bank account, nationwide is ****ing retarded, why would I need to be 18 to have a debit card?
