*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

For me I find the red dot is a lot more accurate, being a smaller dot, but holographic has a bigger viewpoint, in the sense that within the sight and around the dot is a much bigger area to see enemies.
 
Encountered 2 people in FFA nuke boosting for the first time today, took great pleasure in wiping them both out several time when I found their spawn location.
 
*sigh* playing Sabotage tonight, and all my team except me ran around treating it like TDM! If they wanna just run aaround killing the other team, can't they just go PLAY TDM!! :(

It is incredibly frustrating, I really don't get why some people play objective games to just completely ignore the objective :(

To be honest it's why I don't play objective based games - I much prefer sniping which IMO is much more suited to TDM, so I play that pretty much exclusively.

Just to get their kill:death ratios up, sniping people running for a set objective / camping nearby is a lot easier than TDM against a team looking for kills rather than objectives.

It is annoying, I sometimes wish they would split the kill:death ratio into 2 groups - objective based games and non objective based. I'll quite often come top of a leaderboard on CTF due to constant flag running but my kill death ratio gets destroyed.
 
Was playing capture the flag late last night and we only won the game with 1 point over 2 rounds. Nobody could actually get the opposing flag back before dying. Was a good match though.
 
Has there been an update for MW2? just went online and something happen...not sure what it was tho?
 
^ Ohh brilliant!! some muppet was using the Jav glitch lastnight ...i am level 55 now ... and was trying to get 250 headshots at 1am this morning i managed to do it then it goes.... okay now get 350 :( meh ... its so tedious! going to start M16 or ARC today i think

if you find them tedious just dont bother. i just let them happen naturally whilst i enjoy the game. dont go looking for them and probably wont get half of them due to using the same guns all the time:p

Tedious to the extent of doing headshots not the challenges i enjoy doing those and seeing the xp bar raise :)


I think thats my prob! i've just been using the M14A since i went multiplayer unlocked everything bar 100 headshots heh
