Meh no thanks prefer my moive settings that bumtious talked me through![]()

I spy a KRP 500M with 3 dead pixels for only £1900![]()
those 3 dead pixels would drive me bonkers - for £1900 you may as well get a 5090 brand new and no dead pixels imho. AFAIK the 500M isn't very different aside from being designed for wall mount, extra menu settings and maybe some connections

Meh my post isn't here.
Simon, do you have a link to settings, I have misplaced them.
well I compared both and KRP500M does not have a better picture if the 5090 is properly calibrated, they are pretty much exactly the same. I would bet that the panels are exactly the same, although i never found any evidence for or against that when I was originally purchasing a Kuro.
The KRP500A with seperate media box is the one to get in the KRP series anyway![]()

KRPs use a different panel to the 5090
Cheers guys.
Found that spreadsheet earlier after trawling through threads. Had a little go on iron man and tbh it looked pretty crap, just more likea toned down standard mode. Had a very icey blue look to it.

out of curiosity, any links to that info? I have never found any such details anywhere, it would be worth sharing because many people were also trying to figure that out on AVS and AVF.
