christ this game is broken

Noob tube delight tonight!, Can't play at all, every game is rapid fire nade launchers, plus all the other glitches. Think I'm leaving this till after Xmas, silly now

Harrier , then chopper gunner on Afghan and then some noob with a silenced Striker kills me from a mile away :(

So for headshots no stopping power:

Long: (35 x 1.5) = 53 = 2 shots
Close: (50 x 1.5) = 75 = 2 shots

With stopping power:

Long: ((35 x 1.4) x 1.5) = 75 = 2 shots
Close: ((50 x 1.4) x 1.5) = 105 = 1 shot


So you are wasting your 2nd slot on the off chance you mange to get a head shot at close range.

Worth it? I don't think so.

Thanks for the info. I need to check out that chart thats been posted against my other classes as well. I'll give the holo a go with silencer.

I was also a pc gamer until about 2 months ago till i bought my 360, all my FPS games were mouse and keyboard, i play MW2 quite regularly now since release date (almost 2 days of play now according to my stats). I've pretty much got it sorted now, it's almost second nature, i finish almost consistantly in the top 3 in FFA games, not bad for 2 months of using a console.


Oh, i and i thought the same as you :)
 
Is there a list somewhere of what rewards do and do not count towards your killstreak, none of the ones I seem to choose ever count towards it.

On another note I've said all along that I probably would not prestige, maybe after a while, but after I filled up my XP bar games seem kind of pointless. When I think about it there are only a few weapons that are really holding me back from going prestige and other than the 1887s it's mainly cosmetic and cool factor. I think I may prestige soon.

It's worth it. It really doesn't take long at all to get back to 50+ again, due to being used to the game.

As for what mode I play mostly, it was Domination but definitely now FFA. Love it.
 
aaargh, what a muppet i am :(

Just been playing again, 2 games i had, both games were frustrating as hell, i was shooting the other players - like full rounds, and i was hitting them and they weren't dying, then it was like i was hit once and i was dead, got really frustrated and launched my wireless controller at the wall and smashed it :(. I got like 1 kill to 15 deaths in both games - i'm normally quite good and consistantly finish in top 3.

Ah well, better go buy a new controller tomorrow lol

Edit : Hmm , my killstreak is only showing 28 , so do the nuke kills count towards that ?

It depends at what stage of the nuke you died, sometimes it kills you first, sometimes last, luck of the draw.
At least I think so anyway :D
