ATi Catalyst 9.12's Next Wednesday.

Anyone noticed any crashing with the new drivers? Especially the 'vertical lines' crash? (One of the first posts I've ever written which I hope no-one responds to!)

+1 in the hope stakes!

Btw Britboy I logged a call with sapphire and they seemed to give a scripted answer so not looking hopeful there. I replied saying this needs to work with an overclock otherwise I wasted my money on a UD5 and I7 etc...keep posted!

Dear Sir

Please check as following:

1: Update motherboard bios and chipset driver to the latest version, please note this.

2: Clear your motherboard CMOS and back to the default setting again.

3: Remove your previous card driver first (Nvidia or ATI drivers) and reinstall v9.11 or CD driver again.

If still the same, please contact your reseller and test your card on other motherboard as well.

Check this way. Thank you.

Regards

Gonna try those ones posted up earlier, as I haven't even been able to run 3dmark without the drivers failing since I got my 5770 last night. PLEEEEEAAAASE work!

It happens with anything that's even remotely demanding (ie crashes during Dirt 2 before I can even sign in). I just get a "display driver has stopped responding" error, despite having unistalled (with driver sweeper) and reinstalled 9.11 drivers from both sapphire and ATI's site. It's starting to get on my nerves a bit.

it should be a faulty card.

is everything at stock?

btw don't use driver sweeper, i could delete something it shouldn't

k, will give that a shot. Might also try reseating the card in case it's not in properly, reconnect pci-e power etc. Just to rule everything else out.
