ATi Catalyst 9.12's Next Wednesday.

Gotta admit these drivers for me are pukka, gone are all my issues with old DX9 games either crashing playing on-line or within a single player game. I used to have problems launching a game while at the same time playing a bluray through to my 1080p telly. It used to resize the telly when i launched a game and the picture stayed messed up. Now the game launches on my monitor and the picture on my telly stays as it should. GREAT GREAT improvement for me ATI well done.:D

*BTW* I'm on windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Tried installing new drivers, no joy. Still getting driver stopped responding errors and the occasional hard lockup. Faulty card? Or is there anything else I can try?

Still getting the problem of 24hz in crysis warhead and limited to 50hz in nba2k10 on my lcd, no problem with other games and both these games worked great in 9.10 but refresh rate problems in 9.11 and now these betas. Trying to force 60hz in ccc makes no difference.

It happens with anything that's even remotely demanding (ie crashes during Dirt 2 before I can even sign in). I just get a "display driver has stopped responding" error, despite having unistalled (with driver sweeper) and reinstalled 9.11 drivers from both sapphire and ATI's site. It's starting to get on my nerves a bit.

Don't use driversweeper on ATI drivers. If you used driver sweeper without uninstalling first then you may have hosed your OS install completely, there is a bigger probability of this if you are running Crossfire.

There is NO NEED to uninstall drivers before you update in Win7 and Vista due to how the driver model is designed.

People bang on about possible corrupting of drivers if you don't but to be frank if your machine is incapable of overwriting a few files without corrupting the write you need to be looking at the hardware and not the software,

they look like decent drivers

someone else reported:

(9.11) P21535 vs. (9.12) P23468 vantage

generally 1k gpu score increase

now lets see some gaming reports :p

looking good:

Tried these with Shift, and for the most part the game performance increased, but TOKYO CLUB AND TOKYO CIRCUIT still broken. Car lights flickering also not fixed.
On the other hand I'm getting P18000 in Vantage and Crysis performance increased a lot, getting 41 fps in gpu_benchmark at 1920x1080 very high details no AA no AF.
