Where abouts in Brum was that?
just outside birmingham, closer to Walsall than anything.. Sutton Road, near Longhorn pub and the Co-op
Where abouts in Brum was that?
Shocked by how many more males than females died on the roads, didn't expect it to be quite as huge.
... happen at night when they are most likely drunk, which has nothing to do with driving experience.
Funny how it says "New drivers aged between 17 and 25 stand out. Passing a driving test does not provide the necessary experience and judgments needed for today's busy roads."
Yet about 3/4 of the deaths by 17-25 year olds on the chart happen at night when they are most likely drunk, which has nothing to do with driving experience.
Im sure most of them aren't drunk.
Its thought that whilst women have more accidents, they tend to be at slower speeds, so are less likely again to be fatal.
.. and people are frightened of flying.
No matter what the statistics will say, I'll always have more fear of dieing in a plane crash than in my car, at least in the car I'm in control and me getting an accident would likely be my fault, in a plane you are powerless to do anything. If the plane fails like the rudder breaks off you're dead.
What I find funny is the ''road type''. Surely this proves that the limit on motorways is way too low and can easily be upped and that reducing the limit on there is retarded ?
Because a lot of motorway drivers go over the limit anyway, so say the limit was put up to 80, many drivers would still think they could get away with 90+, etc.
