rage against the x-factor - Outcome: RATM is the Christmas Number One!

I would love to link to this but would get a sus so go to a famous video site and type : X Factor - Killing In The Name Of - Rage Against The Machine

yeah it's brilliant.

Radio one is going to play the full unedited version sometime between now and midnight, for only the third time in history.

Yup, i listen to dnb, trance, dubstep, rock, pop, blues, oldie stuff, glamrock, classical. When my mate asked what sort of music i was into, i said 'pretty much everything but metal/goth stuff'. He laughed and said 'everything? yeh right'. I gave him my ipod, he flicked through the artists and then replied with 'weirdo, why do you like everything but metal?' to which i replied 'the spoken word isn't harmonic with the music.'

There ya go, life story ;)
Ah! But you can get instrumental metal! I love metal myself, though I'm not a fan of much lyrical music to be honest.

I like music, not genres. If I dislike something, it's because I don't like it, not because of its genre.

Most people who look at my iPod are just as surprised.

The definition of "metal" is pretty loose as well really.

Tony MacApline can be considered metal, yet it's nothing like "metal" that people usually think involves growling/screaming/screeching.

Same goes for Buckethead too, those his music crosses a lot of genres anyway.

I've decided not to like Stairway To Heaven because Robert Plant doesn't like it.
I know a friend who dislikes Megadeth because of the problems Dave Mustaine has had with Metalica, not because he doesn't like Megadeth's music.

He's 19, he WAS 16 when he said this. :o

Anybody that says this isn't a good thing must be painfully biased... This has made the Christmas number one so interesting again, even if Rage doesn't get the #1 spot, the journey has been more enjoyable than it has been for years.

Thanks Mr Cowell, for giving us somebody to hate. :D

PS I believe any site that sells the track for more than 40p will count in the charts.
