Drunk boy, 4, found in street at 1.45am sipping a beer, wearing a dress he'd stolen

How have they not taken the child away from the clearly unfit mother.

What was she doing while her kid stole a dress, stole beer and went out the front door unsupervised?

I'll take a rough guess but perhaps it is a non story that has been exaggerated by the media and the OCUK experts jump on it.
She said that it was bedtime and she was sleeping, he got out because he wants to see his father and when he got cold he found shelter.
In that shelter he found clothes to keep him warm and something to drink (some kids can drink alcohol like it's water without pulling faces).
Of course his Mum 'looks' rough so she must be bad.

Thats some spin on it.

Would you taser this kid into line too dm?

:D :p

lol in the video the news reporter says "now she says she feels like she's failed as a mother", then skips to a clip of the mother saying how she feels where she says "kids do these things, everyone makes mistakes, it was an honest mistake" which is the total opposite of "i failed like a mother" lol

Exactly - she became a monster they couldn't control therefore she had a slight jab of the tazer.
AFAIK this lad gave himself up with no problems (and probably had a shower too).

So if a older male stranger tried to force your daughter into the shower you'd hope she'd just girn and take it or would you hope she'd resit like hell too?

^tefal I feel he has a skewed view on parenting tbh. bit worrying, but not my concern I didn't have to live in his house.

Oh seriously if you still can't get it now DM just don't bother eh.

older male stranger t

It was a policeman in a policemans uniform - not a 'stranger'.
I will take a stab and say that she would probably know what a policeman looks like.

2 daughters 22 & 20, 1 has got 14 GCSE', 4 A level Distinctions and at Uni, the other has got 12 GCSE's, 3 A Levels and will go to Uni next year (she took some time out).
Both have never been in trouble and both of them adore me.
Their mates wish I was their Dad too and you would if you knew me.

I don't have a skewed view of parenting, you didn't read the story about the little girl correct and the follow ups.
She ended up in a home because of her behaviour.
