The Official Motors Awards 2009

That's the guy!

How is nominiting him "harsh"? It's no harsher than someone nominating the guy who bought an overpriced entry level Clio from CarCraft. After all, like you say, accidents do happen.

At least the guy who bought the Clio didn't over estimate his driving abilities and end up looking like a complete tit, with his car on its roof. :p

True, but a few of us were there and to be honest, any of us could have ended up the same way that day becasue the weather was terrible. At least Darryn sees his mistake has learnt from it, unlike the Carcraft guy!

Well no.. :p

People crash because they run out of talent not because of the weather or road conditions, which are all part of driving. Trust me ;)

I've learned the hard way since I started driving, Darryn just did it better :D

It just sounded bad on Darryn that's all, but you are right as always ;)

not really, just because he offers an opinion other than that of the foxy bandwagon masseev doesn't really make him a troll :p far worse about.

besides, he'd be permabanned if he were that bad...

Moving on from taking the **** out of people for a few minutes, any suggestions for a few more positive awards?

Best buy of the year?
Project thread of the year?
Members car of the year?

To be fair I have to agree. That thread was embarrasing.

Have just read through that thread and the other posted about the Renault Clio.

2 of the biggest bags of FAIL i have read tbh :(. Unfortunately i read the clio thread before the Janesy FAIL thread, so could sort of see where he was coming from in slagging the poor bloke off.

Now, however, all i read is blah blah blah to all of Janesy B's posts in the Clio thread.

BTW Clio thread has my vote for biggest fail

even more so after putting chav exhaust on, wanting to turbo it and clearly doing something to the look of the car (wanting some power to match its look or something).

shocking.
