I'll agree that once you manage to get into a game with a decent host, it's great. IWNET sucks for picking hosts most of the time though.

It's easy enough to leave and find a new lobby until I get a good ping (roughly 2-4 minutes on average tbh), but when playing with a group, it's enough of a hassle just getting everyone into one game without having someone disconnected or put into the wrong game or something.
 
I really dislike the game at the mo, its the maps i dislike more than IWnet, they are really boring and wasteland is brecourt with a new skin, i mean c'mon.

Bad company 2 will be the death of this game.

Im hoping so as well, this game is quite simply, pish.
 
I like MW2, I have a lot of fun in it and it's a shame other people don't enjoy it as much as I do. Granted I can't hammer it for 6 hours at a time but a few hours here or there. I must admit though I am excited about BFBC2, I played the original on xbox and loved it.
 
MW2 is god awful sometimes, lag is just pathetic, especially when you just fired 3 shots into someones face, to watch the killcam and you haven't shot at all.
 
From my opinion, the single player game was fanstastic, however again it didn't take long to complete the game. i actually had to stop myself after 2 hours as i got so far in the game and didn't want to complete to early.

some levels were pretty small even though the detail of the maps were great, again IW have put a lot of effort into the detail, i would have love to of seen more sniping levels were you have to sneek in places without getting caught, would have been good in a night level in a camo suite with a silenced sniper.

In regards to the multiplayer at first was enjoyable, but after a while booring.
1. no dedicated servers you get matched up with other players. i would have love to seen 30 players on a team deathmatch map or being able to choose what server you would like.
2.Not Enough time, you start getting into the map, then the timelimit is about 5-6 mins, whereas i enjoy long games where you work together as a team, specially on capture the flag.

Overall : single player is worhwhile and enjoyable, however i still feel as though that they need to stretch out the game so when you go back to it you know you have a long way to go before it's completed, a lot more sniping and creeping around levels, or when your on your own, Multiplayer sucks without dedicated servers and i would rather stick needles in my eyes than be put in a game which last 5 mins between each map, BF2 had a great dedicated server, even so some of them you can choose a map you like 24/7 with 20 min gameplay. my rating is 7/10 would have been 8 if the multiplayer was better. :)
 
I wish i could see the ping of the host and the other players while still in the lobby, i hate joining a lobby ,connecting to a game and my ping sucks wang, if i could see it BEFORE the game starts i could simply join a different game :(

If they were to do that, it would be admitting that iwnet isn't the greatest and as we all know, it's the best thing to happen to gaming since in game mouse support.

I just had a read over at IW forums, and to show how much attention they put into controling their forum posts,
One guy has posted a video, that is such a blatant hack (which in itself is no use as VAC/IW will do bugger all as its automated)
Then the icing on the cake is another member replying to the post with a detailed step by step instruction on how to do it.

Ye its like mob rule over there. There was even a link to a MW2 torret on there for a few weeks!

Oh dear :o

VAC is complete load of horse crap compared to PB. What makes it worse is Valve can't even implement anti cheat on a engine they bloody developed. Having gamed on PB for 6 years I have seen a hand full of genuine cheaters in MW2 every server is full of them. Yeah VAC is great. :rolleyes:

Good thing is the game on PC is being killed. tbh i'd rather IW just came out and said were not supporting PC anymore, have done with, and we can all move on.

This game without lag would be a lot of fun... the variety in weapons/setups is good, battles can be intense and some of the maps are decent.

However everytime I face an enemy going round a corner, bang my screen freezes for a split second and im dead before I can even fire a round.

Its probably the least skilled FPS game ive played, given that the lag plays a huge part and the game is full of stupid perks.

I force myself to play for a couple of hours a night just to ensure I get some value for money :(
