It's snowing

I kind of/dont hope that red warning area moves to sussex in the next 12 hours or so! Love the snow and the amount we got 2 thursdays ago, but it lingered for so long making travel round here (very hilly lanes and A roads) a nightmare!

I have a date on thursday which i want to make lol! so hopefully it wont snow too much or i'll buy snow chains if it does XD

I think the red/severe warning has already moved into Sussex, it's right up to the West Kent border now and moving east. We will get snow tonight, I'd guess between 10-20cm but maybe more. We're also going to get some later in the week according to the latest local forecast in our area. This cold spell is going to be with us for quite a while yet.
I've got a great idea for your date, how about you go snow boarding down Mount Pleasant road. :D

Lol that sounds like a good idea actually, though i live in rotherfield so have to get to twells , hence the snow issue, tho i did say to myself if it snows tonight much im going to my bros who lives in mount sion near the old high street, that way i'll be sorted :D

im checking the weather met and bbc every 10 mins lol

Haha I watched it thinking "what the hell is he on about?!" :p Then it came at the end :D

Also - why is the cat on a lead? =\

Hahaha :p

Cuz it could be a housecat, so it doesn't get all psycho and start running about in the snow , ive never tried to catch a cat going mental in snow but i could imagine it could be quite difficult!

Could be worse. Could be trying to catch a cold.

I'll get my coat.

Don't want to catch a cold.

Took me 1hr 20mins to get to work today, normally takes 20mins. Saw a bus go sideways across both lanes which nearly made me turn back and go home... soldiered on though and made it in:D

Sheffield btw, car park at work was probably 7-8 inches under snow.

thing is, there was no where near as the amount of frost and solid ground as there was the last time it snowed, so looks like no snows going to go to waste this time by melting :D

Not had any snow untill 8:50 this morning by 10 o'clock the place was covered and by 10:30 there was no real hope of getting around.

Not had any snow since about 11am though, not sure if I want snow or not?

Can someone with a bit of geography intelligence confirm this for me, can you look at

http://www.raintoday.co.uk/

And tell me that that massive band of cloud/rain that is below portsmouth will turn to snow when it meets the colder air that is over land? i.e. turning to the red that we see further inland?
